THE LAST MARATHON is a personal story about television producer and avid marathon runner Anton Maillie and his family's journey with ALS and the path to advocacy for change within the ALS community.

While battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, Anton and his wife, Mari, dedicated themselves to bringing about awareness and hope. Sadly, Anton lost his battle with ALS on September 1, 2022, but his legacy will remain forever.
